"Eight fire engines and around 60 firefighters and officers have been called," a spokesman said. | |

"Brigade 999 control officers have taken around 90 emergency calls to the incident." | |
The brigade urged people living close to the estate to keep their doors and windows shut because of the smoke. | |

"Services running across the whole Southern network will be suspended between Clapham Junction and London Victoria," it said. | |
The company urged passengers to use buses and the underground, or travel to London Bridge or Blackfriars and change trains. |
