Masked raiders blow up cash machine in Blackburn

Four men in balaclavas have stolen thousands of pounds after blowing up a cash machine.

The gang used an explosive device to break into the machine at the post office in Whalley Old Road, Blackburn, at about 02:45 BST, said police.

The raiders then sped off in the direction of Rydal Road in a Volkswagen Golf car.

Police are trying to trace the men and the car and have asked for any witnesses to contact them.
