The acting principal of Ballydown Primary School in Banbridge, Trevor Russell, said it was not the first time flooding had happened.
"For the second time in less than a month, Lisnaree Road has been flooded due to the increased drainage coming away from the school site into the original culvert that drains along Lisnaree Road," he said.
"Obviously the original culvert, cannot cope with the increase in capacity as it drains from the school site.
"Therefore, the residents of the Lisnaree Road and the pupils of Ballydown Primary School had to put up with this flooding."
