Two big car bombs have hit police stations in separate cities in Turkey, killing six people and wounding at least 219 others. At least 12 people have been killed and 219 wounded in three bomb attacks in Turkey's southeast.
The first attack targeted a police station in the eastern city of Van, killing one police officer and two civilians. Some 73 people were hurt. Blasts at police stations in Van and Elazig killed four police officers and two civilians, reports said.
Hours later, a police station in Elazig was hit, killing at least three police officers and wounding 146 people. Five soldiers and a village guard died when their vehicle was targeted in Bitlis province.
