Monty Panesar looks set to play in the first Ashes Test after being picked ahead of Ashley Giles for the final warm-up against South Australia. Matthew Hoggard took three quick wickets as England made a good start to their final Ashes warm-up game against South Australia in Adelaide.
Hoggard, leading England's attack with Steve Harmison injured, claimed three for nought in 12 balls after James Anderson made the initial breakthrough.
Captain Darren Lehmann came in to steady the ship for South Australia, who were 60-4 at lunch.
