"We believe they are all in their late teens and early 20s and come from the Greater London area.
"These men were not fully clothed when they were pulled from the sea but wearing clothes appropriate for being at the beach for the day.
"We have no further reports of anyone else missing from Camber and there are no ongoing searches related to this incident.
"This has been an incredibly tragic incident and we are offering their next of kin support at this difficult time."

Police don't really know what the circumstances were - whether these were five individual cases, whether they were known to each other, whether there was a linked problem between five of them.
They said they just didn't have any idea of who these men were.
I think that speculation that they were migrants comes from the fact that eyewitnesses have spoken of seeing these men fully clothed.

Peter Dawes from the RNLI, said: "The lifeboat crew at Rye [were] involved in a search overnight.
"It really will be up to the police and the coastguard as to whether they continue that search effort.
"I think a lot of that will come down to information that comes from the public and whether they can identify the individuals."
Rother District Council said in warm weather about 25,000 people use the beach each day.
