Several police officers have been injured after PSNI vehicles were involved in an operation in Dunmurry. Several police officers have been injured while arresting a man alleged to have been driving erratically in Dunmurry, near Belfast.
Seven vehicles were involved in the incident, five of them police cars. One man has been arrested. Seven vehicles, including five police cars, were involved in the incident, which took place at 0830 BST on Friday.
It is understood officers tried to contain a driver who was allegedly acting erratically. Officers used their cars to box the driver in. He and another motorist who was caught up in the incident suffered minor injuries.
The driver officers were attempting to box in, and another person caught up in the incident, are understood to have minor injuries. The Police Ombudsman has been informed, but is not investigating.
