Spotlight on Africa - new series Send in your questions for our panel
Drought-resistant crops, premium chocolate and small-scale farmers working directly with multinational brands. These are just a few examples of how the agri-food sector in Africa is developing, and the role business is playing. We’ve already been asking you what you think we should cover in our new Spotlight on Africa series. Stories so far have included drought-resistant crops, Africa’s portable solar revolution and the merits of small-scale farmers working directly with multinational brands.
Over the next four months we will continue to look at food, forestry, the supply chain and business in our Spotlight on Africa series. The challenges, including water and climate change, the opportunities and the big talking points. These are just a few examples of how the agri-food sector in Africa is developing, and the role business is playing.
We want to hear what you think we should cover and what you think the big issues are. So please get in touch using the form below or via twitter @GuardianSustBiz. Ahead of our online debate on November 22nd 1-2pm (GMT) please tell us what topics or questions you’d like us to ask the panel. Get in touch using the form below or via twitter @GuardianSustBiz.
Later this month we will also announce a live online Q&A on this theme. We will invite key spokespeople, including businesses, academics and NGOs from Africa and around the world to answer your questions on this page. Tell us the topics you’d like us to cover during this Q&A.
We plan to post your comments and run the Q&A here on this page. So keep it bookmarked if you want to take part.
