Lashley was also banned from driving for four years after admitting to causing grievous bodily harm with intent, aggravated vehicle taking and driving without insurance. The victim would not be able to walk again for six months and "his life will never be the same", the judge added.
David Godfrey, defending Lashley, said she accepted the offence in full and described her actions as a "moment of madness".
