A pilot and two other people have survived a light aircraft crash near Aberdeen. A pilot and two passengers have survived a light aircraft crash near Aberdeen.
The plane is thought to have clipped a telegraph pole attempting an emergency landing at Westhill Golf Club. The plane had been landing on a grass airstrip at Westhill when it appears to have overshot the runway, clipped a pole and hit a stone dyke.
Two of the three people who were onboard are believed to have been injured but not seriously. The pilot and two female passengers climbed from the wreckage unhurt. They were taken to hospital for checks.
