Ukip interim leader Nigel Farage said Mr Woolfe is conscious and “mildly better”, it has been reported. The party’s interim leader Nigel Farage said Mr Woolfe is conscious and “mildly better”.
According to the Politico’s Tara Palmeri who is in Strasbourg where Mr Woolfe has been hospitalised, UKIP MEP Nathan Gill said Mr Woolfe was now “conscious and recovering”.
She said his condition was not life-threatening.
In an update she added Mr Woolfe was “sitting up, seems to be fine, has numbness around his eye and cheek bone.”
She added the hospital was “going to keep him overnight for bloodtests”.
