The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall have arrived in Northern Ireland for a two-day visit. The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall are visiting Northern Ireland.
The royal couple's first engagement was a Belfast restaurant where they sampled Northern Ireland produce. The royal couple were the guests of honour at a garden party at Hillsborough Castle hosted by Secretary of State Shaun Woodward.
Prince Charles then went to the Stormont hotel which is hosting a Heritage and Regeneration Conference. More than 2,000 invited guests were at the event including Chief Constable Sir Hugh Orde and several police officers.
Camilla visited the Barnardos Centre at Windsor Avenue in Belfast, and was greeted by Northern Ireland Secretary Shaun Woodward. The band of the Fire and Rescue Service played the national anthem while Charles and Camilla planted a Bhutan pine tree to commemorate the visit.
