Naked M3 man 'wrongly abducted'

A naked man wandering on the central reservation of a motorway may have been mistakenly abducted, police said.

Officers were called to the M3 in Southampton, Hampshire, on Monday night after several drivers reported seeing the man between junctions 12 and 13.

It is thought the man, 20, may have been abducted in a Peugeot car from the city centre before being dumped.

Officers have appealed for anyone with any information about the incident to contact them.
