What questions do you have about Aleppo? What do you want to know about Aleppo?
(8 days later)
The Syrian civil war has taken its toll on the entire country, but since 2012 Aleppo, Syria's second largest city, has become a key battleground. Do you have unanswered questions about Aleppo? We asked you to send in your questions about Aleppo for Chief International Correspondent Lyse Doucet to look into.
We have reported on the conflict in Syria since the civil war began in 2011. We have covered issues from air strikes, sanctions and international relations to daily life for residents of the city. But what issues do you want us to report on? What questions about Aleppo do you want answered? We've picked out four of your questions and now it's over to you to tell us which one you would most like Lyse to answer.
Do you want to know about the politics of the city? Are you interested in Russian involvement? Or air strikes and ceasefires? Or do you want us to take a look at daily life for the residents of Aleppo? Choose your favourite question:
We'll use your questions to help direct our coverage, and we'll let you select one question about the city that we'll answer. Where will I see Lyse's answer?
Use this form to ask your question: The answer will be published on the BBC News website and will appear on this page and the world section of the site.
Why are we doing this?
We want to write stories which matter to you.
You can send us your questions about whatever interests you and BBC News will try to answer them.
