Madonna offers oral sex to anyone who votes for Hillary Clinton over Donald Trump
Version 0 of 1. Madonna has quite an offer for voters who choose Hillary Clinton on Election Day: oral sex. While opening for comedian Amy Schumer in New York City, Madonna, 58, made her proposition to a packed house at Madison Square Garden. “One more thing before I introduce this genius of comedy: If you vote for Hillary Clinton, I will give you a bl**job – and I am good,” she joked, channeling the crass humour of Schumer. Madonna has made no mystery of her politics, which lean to the left, and often attracts controversy for her statements. In 2012, in her endorsement for President Barack Obama’s reelection, she urged her audience to vote for a “black Muslim”. “Y’all better vote for f***ing Obama, OK? For better or worse, all right? We have a black Muslim in the White House. Now that’s some amazing s**t,” she told a sold out crowd in September 2012, adding her thoughts on Mr Obama’s support for LGBTQ rights. In response to the backlash she received from the incorrect remarks about the president’s religion – a common trope of racist critiques of Mr Obama – Madonna explained that she was being facetious. “I was being ironic on stage. Yes, I know Obama is not a Muslim – though I know that plenty of people in this country think he is,” she said. “And what if he were? The point I was making is that a good man is a good man no matter who he prays to. “I don’t care what religion Obama is – nor should anyone else in America.” She also ignited controversy for her 2003 video for the single “American Life”. The song, which was produced before the Iraq War helmed by the Bush Administration, expressed “a panoramic view of our culture and the looming war through the view of a female superhero, portrayed by Madonna,” her publicist said at the time. But after six weeks of air, Madonna pulled the video from circulation, as it crosscut images of warplanes bombing cities with fashion models dressed in military garb. She had said she wanted the video to convey an anti-war and anti-commercialism message. “Due to the volatile state of the world and out of sensitivity and respect to the armed forces, who I support and pray for,” she said, “I do not want to risk offending anyone who might misinterpret the meaning of this video." |
