Queensland police are searching for a nine-year-old boy missing from his Rockhampton home since Saturday afternoon. Queensland police say a nine-year-old boy who went missing from his Rockhampton home on Saturday afternoon has been found safe and well.
An amber alert has been issued for the boy, who was last seen about 4.30pm at his family’s home at Webber Avenue at Kawana, on the city’s north side. An amber alert was issued on Sunday afternoon for the boy, who had been last seen about 4.30pm at his family’s home at Kawana, on the city’s north side.
He is described as Caucasian in appearance and about 145 centimetres tall with a fair complexion, brown eyes and short sandy blonde hair. Police said the circumstances surrounding his disappearance were not suspicious.
Police are concerned about the boy’s welfare because of his age. They have said that he suffers from a medical condition.
He was last seen wearing a black singlet with a bright yellow skull design on the front, black stubby style shorts and no shoes.
Police believe he may have travelled to the Norman Gardens area and may be riding a red and black BMX bike.
Anyone with any information about the missing child should contact police.
