North Wales Police have made an arrest in the grounds of a church after a man was stabbed on a beach. A 52-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder after a man was stabbed on a beach in north Wales.

A 52-year-old man was detained in the grounds of the Holy Trinity Church and is being questioned by police. The charged man, who has been named as Sydney Rogers of no fixed address, will appear before Llandudno magistrates on Monday.
Police asked any witnesses to contact them. He is also charged with possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
The injured man, who is thought to be from the local area, was treated at Glan Clwyd hospital.
His condition was not life-threatening and he is now recovering.
