Boy denies raping seven-year-olds

A 15-year-old boy has pleaded not guilty to committing 20 sex offences against two seven-year-old girls, Londonderry Crown court has heard.

The defendant, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is alleged to have committed the offences in 2006.

He pleaded not guilty to nine charges of rape, five charges of gross indecency with a child and six charges of indecent assault in 2006.

He is due to stand trial at Londonderry Crown court in October.
