Two held over Chatham High Street attack on teenager

Two people have been arrested after a teenage boy was left in a serious condition after allegedly being struck by two cars then chased and stabbed.

The 16-year-old was attacked in Chatham High Street, Chatham, at the junction of Upbury Way, between 19:30 GMT and 20:15 GMT on Friday.

He remains in hospital in a stable condition, Kent Police said.

Two men, aged 19 and 21, both from Chatham, have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

Two other men, aged 18 and 19, who had also been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, have been released on bail until 2 February.
