Alert after suspect object found Dissident group admit bomb attack

A security operation is continuing in County Fermanagh after a suspicious object was found near Rosslea. The Continuity IRA has admitted responsibility for an attempted bomb attack on a police patrol in County Fermanagh early on Saturday.
The object was found on Rellan Road following reports of a loud bang on Saturday. The dissident republican group said it had tried to detonate a landmine as the patrol passed on the Rellan Road near Rosslea.
Police have said that they will try to minimise disruption to local community during the operation. A loud bang was heard and a suspicious object was found a few hours later.
A security operation is continuing in the area.
