Two men charged with murder of Scarborough man Man found dead at house in Scarborough named

Two men have been charged with the murder of a 49-year-old North Yorkshire man. A man who was found dead at a house in Scarborough has been named by police.
The man, who has not been named, was discovered at a house in St Johns Avenue, Scarborough, at 18:25 GMT on Tuesday. Shaun Atkinson, 49, was found dead at the house in St John's Avenue in the North Yorkshire town on 27 December. Police said paramedics were called to the scene but he had already died.
North Yorkshire Police said he was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. Father and son Barry Rewcroft, 51, and Ruben Rewcroft, 20, both of Raincliffe Avenue, Scarborough, have been charged with his murder.
The men, aged 51 and 20, will appear before Scarborough Magistrates Court later. Both men were due to appear before Scarborough magistrates on Thursday.
