A woman aged in her 20s and a three-month-old girl have been killed in a road accident in County Donegal. A young mother and her three-month-old baby daughter have been killed in a road accident in County Donegal.
It happened at about 2045 BST on Monday when a 4x4 towing a sheep trailer was involved in a collision with a car at Tullygay, close to Letterkenny. The child's father, who was driving the car and the man driving the other vehicle are being treated for serious injuries in Letterkenny Hospital.
The man who was driving the car and the man driving the other vehicle have been taken to Letterkenny Hospital. Both sustained serious injuries. The accident happened on Monday evening when a 4x4 towing a sheep trailer was in collision with a car at Tullygay, close to Letterkenny.
The road has been closed while Irish police examine the scene. It happened at about 2045 BST. The road has been closed following the accident.
