Shakira, a university student, told police she was woken by gunfire and saw a man wearing an army jacket, his face hidden by a scarf. Sannoh, who used the street name Striker, was unrepentant about having killed the wrong person. When interviewed by police he said: "This boy's brother killed my friend. Hakeem Dosunmu appeared as a witness and admitted taking part in the robberies. At one point he dramatically pointed at Sannoh and Noor in the dock and said: "I know they killed my brother. On Tuesday, Sannoh and Noor were found guilty of Michael Dosunmu's murder. On Wednesday Sannoh and Noor were told they must serve a minimum of 30 years in jail for Michael Dosunmu's murder.
