A 23-year-old man has been charged with murdering a woman in west Belfast at the weekend. A 23-year-old man has appeared in court charged with murdering a woman in west Belfast at the weekend.
The charge relates to the killing of Grace Moore, who was found dead at her home on an estate near Black's Road on Saturday. Kristoph Emmanuel Aluya, of Churchfield, County Carlow, is accused of murdering Grace Moore, 38.
The body of Ms Moore, 38, was discovered at Erris Grove shortly after lunchtime on Saturday. Ms Moore's body was discovered at a house at Erris Grove near Blacks Road in Belfast on Saturday.
The accused is due to appear before Belfast Magistrates Court later. A defence solicitor said his client would be denying the charge. Mr Aluya was remanded in custody until 12 December.
The defendant spoke only once to confirm he understood the charge against him.
A detective sergeant told the court he believed he could connect the accused to the charge.
