She suffered "very serious head injuries" outside a Starbucks branch on Dudley Street, Wolverhampton, West Midlands Ambulance Service said. She was pronounced dead at the scene. An eyewitness said the woman was struck by a "coffee table-sized" object - thought to be a piece of roof - outside a cafe on Dudley Street, Wolverhampton, at about 11:45 GMT.

The scene has been sealed off by police. Rebecca Davis, a 40-year-old teacher from Wolverhampton, said the woman, whom she thought was aged between 20 and 30, was hit with debris resembling a piece of roof which was "about the size of a coffee table"
"I think the wind broke it and caused it to fall," she said.
"I don't know if it was hit by something else or just the wind did it."
