Version 0 of 1.

An explosion in a block of flats in the northern Lebanese city of Tripoli has killed at least one person, security and medical officials say.

At least six people were injured in the blast, which took place at 0530 (0230 GMT) in the mainly Sunni Muslim Bab Tibbaneh district.

Nine people were killed in sectarian fighting in the area last Sunday.

The clashes threatened to derail a deal to form a national unity government after 18 months of political crisis.
