The soldiers were patrolling central Helmand province in southern Afghanistan when their vehicle rolled over at 2110 local time.
The casualties were taken to the British base in Afghanistan at Camp Bastion.
Force protection
An MoD spokesman said: "Sadly, despite the best efforts of the medical team, one soldier died of his wounds.
"The remaining two casualties are receiving treatment for their injuries which are not life threatening.
"The vehicle had been part of a patrol conducting force protection when the incident occurred. The incident was not combat-related."
