Man held over sex attack bailed

A man arrested in connection with a sexual assault on a 91-year-old woman in her own home has been released on police bail.

The victim opened her door in Corby Old Village on Monday to her assailant who entered and carried out the attack, Northants police said.

She was able to call for help and was taken to Kettering General Hospital for treatment to cuts and bruises.

The 41-year-old from Corby has been released pending further investigation.
