Version 0 of 1.

Two more men have been arrested over the death of a seven-year-old boy who was knocked down by a hit-and-run driver while out on his bike.

Kyle McDermott died after being hit by a white transit van on Maple Road, Mexborough, South Yorkshire, on Monday.

The van driver did not call 999 and sped away from the scene, police said.

Two men have been arrested and held for questioning while two other men, who were arrested on Wednesday, have been released on bail.

An inquest into the Kyle's death is due to be opened on Thursday.

Police still want to speak to the driver of a white car which may have nearly crashed into the white van on nearby Elm Road just before the incident.

Officers believe the van may be damaged at the front and have urged anyone with information to come forward.
