Man arrested after arson attacks

A man has been arrested following two separate arson attacks on a house in Banbridge, County Down.

The window of the property at Hillhead Park was broken and the living room set on fire shortly before 1930 GMT on Saturday.

The house was empty at the time. Earlier the couple living there escaped injury when the front door was set alight.

The police are treating the incident as domestic.
