Her husband, dentist Majid Mustafa, 47, of Beamsley Way, Kingswood, is accused of conspiring to cause grievous bodily harm with intent and conspiracy to administer a noxious substance. A missing person inquiry is continuing and police are still appealing for anyone with information about the disappearance to come forward. A police spokeswoman said the charges against the two men emerged as part of the investigation but added that they were still treating Ms Antczak disappearance as "a missing person inquiry".
Mr Mustafa works as a dentist at a practice in Bransholme. "By these charges we are not insinuating that harm has been done to her [Renata]."
