The Burmese army says wreckage has been found after a military plane went missing carrying more than 120 people. The Burmese army says wreckage has been found after a military plane went missing with 122 people on board.
Among them were 14 crew members and 106 military personnel and family members, including children. Both debris and bodies were found in the Andaman Sea, the military said in a statement on its Facebook page.
The army said the plane had been flying between the southern city of Myeik and Yangon (Rangoon). The aircraft, a Y8 transporter made in China, was carrying 14 crew members as well as 106 military personnel and family members, including children.
