Girl, one, dies from Warwickshire fence crash injuries

A one-year-old girl has died from her injuries after the car she was travelling in crashed into a fence.

Police said the crash, involving a blue Audi, happened near Copston Lodge Farm on Smockington Lane in Wolvey, Warwickshire.

Paramedics treated the baby at the scene and transferred her to hospital where she later died.

They said the male driver, in his 30s, was not seriously injured. The crash happened during Thursday afternoon,

Warwickshire Police said it was appealing for witnesses.
