About 9:30 a.m., Vern Cutler, 83, was traveling south near the 15000 block of Brandywine Road when his car went off the road and struck a tree, Prince George’s County police said. It’s unclear why his car left the roadway. Cutler, of Brandywine, was pronounced dead at the scene. At 11:30 p.m. the same day, David Bonilla, 22, and Marlon Misael, 24, were in a car that struck a tree along the 11300 block of North Keys Road, police said. Bonilla, of Hyattsville, who was driving, was thrown from the vehicle and pronounced dead en route to a hospital. Misael, of Springfield, Va., was pronounced dead at a hospital. The car was traveling against traffic for reasons that are unclear, police said. Authorities are asking anyone with information about the crashes to call 301-731-4422 or 1-866-411-TIPS. |
