A young Palestinian man has been shot dead by an Israeli settler during clashes after Friday prayers in the East Jerusalem neighbourhood of Ras Al-Amoud, according to reports.

Palestinian medical sources told Israeli media that the man was shot in the neck and died shortly afterwards, and that the suspected shooter was believed to be an Israeli civilian.
