A man has been arrested in connection with a suspected acid attack in east London. A man has been charged following an acid attack that left two people with "life-changing" injuries.

A 23-year-old man was arrested on Thursday on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent. Rahad Hussain, 23, has been charged with wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm and possession of an offensive weapon, namely acid.
The incident is being investigated by the Metropolitan Police's specialist gang crime unit. Enquiries are ongoing. Mr Hussain, of no fixed address, is due at Thames Magistrates' Court later.
