Re “New Sales Pitch by Democrats, for Audience of Trump Voters” (front page, July 25):

Democrats searching for a new slogan need search no further. They have a simple, iconic, compelling, tested slogan within reach, buried in dusty boxes of old comic books in the attic. It’s far better than any slogan like “A Better Deal” that they have thought of or can think of.

Best of all, it strikes at all the vulnerabilities of the current administration and Republican apologists: “Truth, Justice and the American Way.”

Seriously. Pay some royalties to DC Comics if they must. It’s hard to do better than Superman.
