With regards to demands for more research into the reasons why groups of Muslim abusers appear to abuse mainly white women (Call for study of sex abuse by ‘boyfriends’, 11 August): misogyny is to be found in all cultures, religions and nations. While holidaying in Morocco, my female friend and I were spat at and verbally abused by locals. A Moroccan friend pointed out the “white man’s porn” factor in all this.
