Officers were initially called at 8.50am on Tuesday to reports of a stabbing on Chorley Road, near the school in the Swinton area of Salford. Mark Harrison, headteacher of the school, said: “I can confirm that a person has been arrested in connection with a stabbing in the community earlier today. The incident did not take place in the school, nor is the victim a student at the school. Anybody with any information about the incident should contact the police.
