He found the missing piece of the jigsaw when a woman in Fredericksburg, Virginia, sold her deceased husband's collection. States began to realise the potential of plates, and the era of brighter, distinctive designs began. Oregon's plates have a fir tree, for example. North Dakota's have a bison. Florida's have two oranges. | |
The effect, when driving on American roads, is twofold.
