Shortly after the trial was resumed following the ruling, the judge ordered the defendant be removed from the dock due to his behaviour.
Mr Revenikiotis had demanded his interpreter to leave and then repeatedly interrupted the court.

The court was told she was left "terrified", with her leg trailing from the car as he sped off before her boyfriend could get in.
Prosecutors says Miss Hammill either jumped or fell from the vehicle because she feared she was about to be sexually assaulted.

Mr Revenikiotis is also charged with the indecent assault on a 23-year-old pregnant woman, who he picked up outside a bus station late at night in Dewsbury, nine months before Miss Hammill's death.
