I have been following Adrian's story in the Birmingham Evening Mail and would like to send my condolences to his family and friends. His writing proved him to be a humble man whose passion for life has made him an inspiration to me and I am sure for many others. I really hope that those close to him will take comfort that he has touched many people and will encourage people to put themselves on the bone marrow register. God rest his soul XNikki, Birmingham
Adrian turned a personal tragedy into a wonderful campaign for awareness. I was impressed by his doggedness in the face of apathy and the government machine. Huge credit to him, sympathy to his loved ones and I hope his campaign is very successful.Femi, Manchester
Adrian was, and always will be, an absolute star. I've been reading Baldy's Blog since being diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma earlier this year and without Adrian my chemotherapy would have been so much more difficult to deal with. He helped me to 'turn my corner' and feel positive for the first time since my diagnosis. (Baldy's Blog also helped me to go public without the headscarf for the first time. I'm obviously unable to join the register but I supported the petition and will continue to support Adrian's cause in any way I can. His legacy will continue to enrich many, many lives. Rest in peace AD. Christina, Derbyshire
Well done to all that Adrian has done to bring the issue of bone marrow transplants into the public eye. My daughter, unfortunately, died last year after a 2 year illness. She had a stem cell transplant in July 2006 and this enabled us to spend an extra year with our very brave and courageous daughter. We did not know the donor but I will be forever grateful to them for the chance they gave my little angel. I am on the bone marrow donor list and I would encourage anyone else to get their name through The Anthony Nolan Trust. My heartfelt sympathy to Adrian's family; what a guy to do what he did in his final months. Hats off to him.Helen Winter, Barnsley
I am so saddened by this news, my thoughts are with his family and friends. He was such a wonderful man to do what he did, he has made a positive difference to so many lives and has indeed touched the hearts of many, myself included. Tess, Northumberland
What a wonderful young man! I have a bone marrow condition, thankfully not too serious, and these things suddenly appear, without warning. I wish now that I had made noises about being willing to be a donor, before my bone marrow became useless for donation. We are all guilty of complacency to some extent, so an example like Sudders needs to be both celebrated for his courage and publicised for his capacity to stir us up.Keith Pexton, Blackpool
Adrian's dedication and commitment to this cause was inspirational. I cannot even begin to imagine how much pain he must have been in and it would have been much easier for him and his family to concentrate on his wellbeing rather than start such a massive campaign which surely took a lot of time and dedication on his part. He has left a legacy with the campaign and I only hope others join the bone marrow register and are made more aware of this subject due to his sacrifice.Louise, Scotland
I read Adrian's blog. What a brave man and right up to the end. I hope more people will register for bone marrow donation. I had the privilege of donating bone marrow to a lady back in 2000. Sadly, the lady also died, but giving that bone marrow and white blood cell donation to her gave her the chance to enjoy more time with her family. Happily I have met many people who have donated bone marrow and they have saved a life. So please donate bone marrow. It really is worthwhile and the test is just an ordinary blood test. It doesn't take long.Carol Carter, Wales
Adrian was an amazing man, his courage and strength were an inspiration to us all and his untimely death is a very sad loss. He was one of life's truly good people. I only knew him through his blog but I felt I really 'knew' him, as I think many of us did who followed him through his brave fight. To choose to spend his last months highlighting the Bone marrow donor issue and to continue that to the end leaves us all with a legacy we must continue. My deepest sympathies go to his family and friends on this saddest of days. May you rest in peace Adrian...you were truly one in many million.Gemmak, Cambridge UK
