Halifax death: Murder arrest after woman found stabbed

A 35-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman was found stabbed in a West Yorkshire town.

The woman was pronounced dead after emergency services were called to a house on Solstice Way, Halifax, on Sunday morning.

A man was found at the scene with minor injuries.

West Yorkshire Police said its inquiry was at an "early stage" and appealed for anyone with information to come forward.
