The Sun newspaper reported it was approached by two men trying to sell pictures of the couple on holiday on the Caribbean island of Mustique. The paper said two men wanted £50,000 for the pictures. Scotland Yard confirmed a man had been arrested on suspicion of theft and handling stolen goods. A spokesman said: "A 25-year-old man was arrested at 9am on the morning of August 31 on suspicion of theft from a motor vehicle and handling stolen goods. "He was taken to a west London police station and bailed to return on a date in September." The camera is thought to have been stolen from Kate's younger sister, Pippa. The newspaper said the men, calling themselves George and John, tried to sell the images which included shots of William and Kate, both 26, in a swimming pool and with her family. Clarence House refused to comment on the report. |
