| David Critchley (Letters, 30 December) seeks to defend Donald Trump supporters from criticism by the bishop of Liverpool by saying that there is “nothing unchristian” about coming to the aid of the American working class, Americans in general, non-American Christians, and non-American non-Christians in that order.
