A 28-year-old woman has died following "an incident" at branch of the travel agent TUI. A 28-year-old woman has died after she was attacked at the travel agents where she worked.
Merseyside Police detained a 30-year-old man at the scene in Southport. He is being held on suspicion of murder after the woman died of her injuries. A man, aged 30, has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the incident at the TUI store in Chapel Street, Southport, at about 13:25 GMT.
Officers were called to the travel agents on Chapel Street in the town at about 13:25 GMT after reports a woman was injured. Ten police vehicles and two air ambulances attended after receiving reports that a woman had been injured. She later died in hospital.
Police believe the incident was "domestic related". Merseyside Police believe the incident was "domestic related".
