'No prosecution'
In a statement, Morrison's said the inquiry was "in the interests of all parties concerned" and it would give its "full support".
"Our thoughts are with those who were affected and we offer our sympathy to the Rowan family," the statement said.
"The outbreak control team concluded last year that it was not possible to determine the exact cause of the outbreak and we have been notified that there will be no prosecution.
"Food safety is our top priority. We have robust procedures in place, which we will have the opportunity to demonstrate at the inquiry.
"We came under intense scrutiny from the authorities in their very thorough investigations and all of the tests undertaken involving colleagues, products, equipment and operational processes at our Falside Road store in Paisley, Scotland, proved clear."
