Mr Bevin tweeted that the shooter is in custody at this time and there were "multiple" injured at Marshall County High School in Benton, Kentucky - about 120 miles northwest of Nashville.  Earlier today, Mr Bevin tweeted that the shooter, a 15-year-old, is in custody after firing bullets at Marshall County High School in Benton, Kentucky - about 120 miles northwest of Nashville. 
Detective Jody Cash of the Kentucky State Police said the “situation is no longer active," the local NBC News affiliate reported. Of the 19 injured, 14 were gunshot victims and 5 were not gun-related injuries. Mr Bevin said at a news conference that one girl died at the scene. A boy died at a hospital.
