It is not thought anyone was injured in the crash. Anthony Scarborough, the house owner, told the Nottingham Post he and his son, 5, were lucky not to be injured.
He said the car crashed into the kitchen below the boy's bedroom, but due to renovation work they had been sleeping elsewhere in the house.

He added that it could be a year before they will be able to go back to the house.
