A female nurse has been held hostage at gunpoint by a man demanding drugs at a Birmingham hospital. Nursing staff were threatened at gunpoint by a man demanding drugs on a ward at a Birmingham hospital.
The intruder walked into a ward at Birmingham City Hospital shortly after 1730 GMT. The man was believed to be a patient on the ward at Birmingham City Hospital.
